7D2D RAT - Remote Admin Tool (Server Manager)

7D2D RAT - Remote Admin Tool (Server Manager) 01128

Of course just after I released this version I see a new version of the Experimental build was released (I think it was minutes apart).

Anyway, this fixes an issue with the chat not displaying correctly due to changes in the new 7D2D build.
Fixed
  • Error when removing an entry from the whitelist
  • Console and Chat auto scroll now functions correctly
  • Player list query now correctly stops when no players are online

Changed
  • Console and Chat are now saved to a local database
  • Optimized parser a bit

Added
  • You can now export console and chat history to a file, supports filtering by player name, steamID and time/date.
    • Also supports ability to limit file size and create multiple files per export
  • Started support for Alloc's Server Fixes
    • You can now spawn items for players
  • You can now open the selected players Steam Profile page in your default browser
  • Status bar on main window, displays telnet status, game server status, in game time and last backup time
  • New RAT configuration settings window -- RAT Settings such as Email settings and other application settings
  • Quick access toolbar on the player window. Allows for easy kick/ban/steam lookups.
This version focuses mainly on stability and local server administration. This is the core functionality of the application and I want to get that solid before adding any of the additional features that have been requested.

**Please note**

This update will overwrite your current RAT settings with a new data file. This means you will need to reconfigure RAT. Sorry, I'll work on DB upgrades soon, but this early in Alpha it hasn't warranted the time.

Your game/save games are perfectly safe.

What's New

Full local server functionality
Import your serverconfig.xml files
Health checks to keep your server running

Backup & Restore
Full backup and restore functions
Timed backups
Only keep the last X backups

Whitelists
You can now add players to different white lists to exempt them from things like the ping checker, bans, kicks or host bans. Each of these is a different setting so you can mix them per player as much as you'd like.

And of course, many bug fixes!

Troubleshooting

If you install the new version and it will not start, it may be that the old database file was not overwritten during the upgrade process.

To fix this, Open Windows Explorer and navigate to: C:\Users\WINDOWSUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\NomadSoft and replace WINDOWSUSERNAME with your own.

Delete the file 7d2dusa.sdf

Now run the RAT installer again, select "repair" and a new database file will be written.

You should be able to run RAT now.
