RAT ver: 02.02.3

Server Settings, Game Settings 1, World Gen Seed: RWG

if anything typed here it is not saved, if close out RAT and re open it is reset to RWG causing your map to be reset and lose everything. full map reset. stuck to use RWG as the seed as the only option. this occurred after upgrading from previous version.

also noticed all backups are kept as 1 kb. not actually saving any backups of world.
this appeared to also occur on prev ver.

so without realizing our server has been wiped, so gonna wait for this to be fixed before hosting our next one ;)

keep up the good work.

This shouldn't of wiped your server, as the old game files would still be there. In RAT, go to File -> Settings and uncheck the "let RAT modify my serverconfig.xml file". Then manually edit that file to whatever your settings were.

Backups, you need to specifically set the folder on the backup tab now. A17 changed the way the file structure is, and there's no way to automatically figure it out now.

Also, should hopefully be a new release out tomorrow that allows you to specify that value however you want.

Sorry you ran into this trouble!

Sounds good Trekkan, looking forward to update,

To continue on previous statements;

Because it removed the seed id ... of course forgetting what the seed id was when typing one it used the same folder structure and still overwrote existing world. so yeah ended up being a mess.
That is when I figured I could restore from backup. going to look at my backup directory which was set , attempted restore and restored so quickly it made me go check the backup directory itself to find all the files to be at 1kb. with no data in them.

I'll check back tomorrow for your updates.

Thanks!
