I messed up my server my server, please help!

First off, the problem I'm facing: I no longer get air drops on my server every 72 hours. I did one of two things that I believe could have had an impact on the air drops; (1.) I enable the grab bag system but I was having problems with the grab bag system so I disabled it. (2.) People on the server wanted a blood moon skipped one night so I obliged and my dumba$$ tried then failed thus setting the day from 35? back to 1. Now air drops don't drop any more, I have six players with bases that would be pissed if I screwed things up trying to fix this so I want to be VERY careful from here on.
 
There is a bug when changing the day/time on servers. It doesn't calculate it right and everything gets messed up.

I don't know if you have a backup you could go back to?
 
What Badplayer said. Although, I don't know the exact way it screws it up. Because I've reset the time on the current day (say from 10pm back to 8am) many times, without a single problem. However, I've also broken my game (in the same way as you, and also no bloodmoons) buy skipping large amounts of days, either forward or backward. But has only happened 3 times in a couple years.

There's no way I know of to fix it other than a backup as Badplayer mentioned. Doesn't mean there isn't a way, just that I don't know it if there is one.
 
As a server admin, myself, the quicker you reset, the easier the players will digest the change. RAT creates backups (if configured). Although I have never used it to revert.
 
allrighty, thank you - i'm having problems with the backups loading, the current backup has started 10+ minutes ago and says "World not loaded" still; man, how do i screw up so bad?!
