Hi!
I would like to think I am computer literate but when it comes to networking I find myself lost. I am having trouble trying to connect remotely to my machine that has a 7dtd server using RAT. Here is my log on the remote machine I am using to connect to my server machine:
"2020-02-17 18:21:35.35 - Error connecting to server: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 68.xxx.xxx.214:8090"
My server
- The server is using all the default ports given (Telnet is 8090).
- The router has port forwarding directly to that machine for TCP 26900 and UDP 26900-26902.
When I am on the local network I can connect using the server machines local IP address and the port 8090. To connect truly remotely, should it not also work to use the public IP address 68.xxx.xxx.214 and the port 8090?
