Hi everyone! I am Jerry - RL and Stevilll in-game. I have been listening to the Sandbox Podcast for a couple years and finally with ArcheAge is a game I want to try and am very stoked to be in a guild with all of you. I usually end up bouncing around from 1 "social guild" to another, they fill up quick... and empty out about as quickly and rarely ever get much organized group content completed.

I got the MMO bug with EQ1 and after a couple years there tried EQ2, WoW, Eve and lots of other stuff for less than a month. I'm tired of every new game playing the safe route and being afraid to try anything new. I also get bored when games are too easy. I am hopeful that AA will provide enough meat to entertain for months! That being said, I have about 99% background as a carebear and very little pvp experience. But I'm sure you'll all help me get the hang of PVP!

Thanks and hope to see everybody in AA tomorrow (is that right, really tomorrow... after being talked about for 4 years)! :)

Hey there and welcome! We've got a really good group and mix of people so I'm thinking things should go pretty well for us. Of course, it's going to take some time to level up, practice and otherwise build ourselves up, but... that's what it's all about.

For me, PvP comes later in my game. Getting all of my resources setup, producing and working on my gear. Then I'll head out and try and slay people. We did a pretty good job of it in Alpha (but damn my sailing skills suck! hehe), and I think most of us had a pretty good time with it.

If you want PvP, you're going to get it in this game. =)

Believe it or not, I have actually been to Pottsville, more than once. My great-grandparents ended up there when they first arrived in the US from Germany. We had a family reunion there years back, I went up to visit family there when I was a kid, and we still have family there now.

Wow! I once ran into someone from Pottsville in Rome, Italy, so I am no longer surprised how far out into the world or cyberspace I go and find people with family in Pottsville! :)
