Discord Announcements

Good morning all!

I figured that since this is more related to configuration than an issue of function it would be best to start a new thread to keep them separate.

The discord integration has been set up and has been working great, thanks to BadPlayer and Teekkan (your assistance is greatly appreciated ). So my hope is to get an idea of what I can do to get this to do what I need.

1: I am attempting to configure the automatic notifications to display either a quick "how many days" or "Bloodmoon is today" notification on discord. I see that there is a section however despite my fiddling around with it I have not been able to get it to work. I can provide screenshots of its current config when I get home today.

2: I installed "server tools" to assist with a few matters on the 7D2D server and one cool feature was the level announcement. It works however this is what is displayed on DC (photo attached). The announcement comes through as if the player is making the text, however it's a server announcement. Was wondering if anyone has some experience with how that works. I haven't had a chance to really dive into it just yet.

I'll keep playing around with it but any information would be greatly appreciated! I'll be happy to provide any other info if needed.

There should be a default event that covers your first problem.



I have made enhancements to this that are not in the default event so if you would like a guide for that, just let me know.
Most notably, the next restart part.

2. Is the game chat app your RAT discord integration?
Also, it has been a long time since I used server tools so I don't know anything about it.
CPM works well though and I know a fair bit about that.

Hey BadPlayer! That would be most excellent, I have the "Discord Bloodmoon From Game" enabled and it recognizes the command through discord which showes in the server. However, nothing is returned to the discord channel. Very possible that it is lacking some information which could use a quick peer check. I have added screenshots of what I show both on the server and on discord along with a screenshot of the configuration which is just default minus the channel location. The additional question I have is, is there a way to automate this when it is the start of bloodmoon day?

Regarding the second option, I do have CPM installed which I will have to dive into it a little bit more to see if there are options similar to that on the Server Tools. Its not a make it or break it feature, just one of those things I thought was kinda nifty. Wasn't sure if anyone else had it enabled which may have had a solution. Not a huge deal though.

This is an in game command.

The command I am talking about is a Discord command.

There is already an event in RAT to handle this.
