Hello,

i was wondering where the chat is logged when it is enabled? And is there a way for true pve? so players cannot dmg blocks in other players land claim?

In the Game settings2 tab under "Block Durability Modifier" is that for all blocks in general or just for players trying to dmg other players claimed areas? if so whats the max it can be set to?

I have noticed in the same tab in the Land claim box it has an online and offline durability modifier what are max settings for this? and is this what i am looking for to make more of a true pve?

Thank you for you time!

And i have been loving the rat manager so far. first time running a 7D2d server but so far it has been nice will donate soon as i am able to :)

Chat is logged to the database in RAT. If you want view it, click the Export button on the toolbar and it will be written to a file.

I'm pretty sure that the block modifiers affect all blocks that are within a landclaim. Outside of a landclaim, I don't think it changes anything. The max is whatever RAT will allow you to set it to, I can't remember the value offhand though.

The problem with changing these is, if you raise them, it is going to make it harder for a person building in an area, as they can't destroy blocks to build/move things.

I think what you might want to do is create a new event in the RAT event editor. Use the type "Player Killed Player"

Then in the script section add in: kill {{player_killer_steamid}}

That will kill the player, that just killed another player. It won't solve killing, but it should be a deterrent.

If you NEVER want a player to be able to kill another player, there's a setting under Game Settings 1, for PK mode. Change that to no killing and players can't damage each other.

As for players destroying something, that's what the land claim blocks are for. Create more of those and space them out. You can also increase their range per block. Then, only people friended by the person that owns the block, can do anything in that area. One you have a base setup well enough, put in things like shotgun turrets and set them to kill non-friends, etc.

Hopefully that helps a little. =)

Yes, i know of the PK mode and have it set to never kill another player. So do all three block durability modifiers do the same thing? Sorry just trying to understand:)

All good, but yeah, I don't think any of those are going to help do what you want. You can always ask on the official forums though, you might get more people seeing it there and maybe some ideas. =)
