Unable to Reproduce Issue Auto-run selected server after RAT starts up

Hello,
First of all I would like you to thank you for your RAT app and its support. It's a great app and probably one of the best released. And thank you for 2.0 version. It is far much better than the previous ones. Thank you for that.

I would like to ask you for a small new feature.
I know we have an option to start RAT after Windows startup, but I would like you to ask you for a little bit more.
I have a private server, my own at my house. And because I'm using this server for couple other games/services I restart it at some certain time, usually during the night time (02:30 AM GMT to be specific). Unfortunately we do not have an option yet to run the selected server when application starts up. I know we have that kind of option for Remote Server (which I don't know why but it don't want to save the settings and I have to mark auto-connect and save it every time) but we don't have that for Local Server. That means I have to run the server by myself or using *.bat file, which not always works. Especially now when BCM and Allocs are required.
So, to be more specific about my request: can we have an option to run Local Server as well when the app start up? Something like for a Remote Connection we have right now. What do you think about it? Maybe there is another solution for that? Maybe I'm missing something?

Hey there, thanks for using RAT. =)

I'm pretty sure you can do what you want already, but it isn't clear, so I get why you might not of seen it.

Make sure that you have Enable Local Server Checked, and Keep Alive (On the health check tab) checked. This will check to see if the server is started and keep it running if it goes down or is otherwise not running.

It'll take about 3 minutes to start the server as the health check has to fail a few times before action is taken. But that should start up your server after a reboot or anytime the server isn't running.

Thank you very much! Works like a charm. Still, there is one more issue I've mentioned above. Auto-Connect option for Remote Connection doesn't want to save. I have to tick it every time after launching the RAT. Is it might be administrator issue or is more like a minor bug in RAT app? Thanks again for your help!

Yup, that's a known bug, there are actually a few options like that. But they are already fixed for the next release. =)
 
Thank you very much for your answer. Last question then :) When we can expect new update? Are you waiting for A17 as well?
 
Yeah, it'll probably be after A17 is released. I just moved into a new house, 2 weeks ago and things are still settling. =) I'm sure A17 is going to break a lot of things, so... But, I might get a release out before then (I want to, it just depends on time).
