Good looking tool, i like the idea of a Client instead of a Web based monitoring system like CBSM. Anyways onto the issue. I have my information put in for the Telnet Info yet nothing is happening. I dont see a connect button except for "Save" and my password and IP/Port are correct. This is becoming a Daunting task trying to find a Secure and active Monitoring and security system for my server. If you can shed some light in on this Dark cave i would very much appreciate it.

First thing I'd do is make sure you are using the "Experimental" version, many fixes and is stable.

Make sure in the remote section, you have the host, port and password setup. Once you get things working, then check the auto reconnect (wait to do this, otherwise RAT will try to reconnect constantly with bad credentials, etc).

Click the "Connect" button in the upper left corner, it should have a lightening bolt icon next to it.

If you're still having issues, PM me your Skype name (assuming you have it) and we can do a screen share and I"ll help you get setup. If that isn't an option, we'll keep working on it in this thread until we get you going.
 
Thanks Trekken with the fast Responce. As for the version im assuming i have the most up-to-date one, i just Downloaded it today. I did get it working after a little Tweaking but now that its working the most i seem to be able to do is send Server messages. any idea how i can Fix the other issues like Spawning items or Teleporting? Im trying to keep my server low Key till i can get a Working Server Monitoring system. So until this can be fixed its currently Closed.

Just Checked and im running 0.1.10.7 of the 7DTD RAT (Remote Admin Tool)
 
Okay i went ahead and Installed the Experimental Version as you had suggested, and now whenever i open up the Software i get a 7D2D RAT Unhandled Exception. any idea whats going on?

This is due to a bad upgrade (my fault, not yours). The best thing to do would be to uninstall RAT and reinstall. I know its a pain, but its the easiest way to handle this issue.

First, uninstall RAT through add/remove programs.

Then press the WindowsKey + E, paste into the top "%appdata%\Roaming\NomadSoft" no quotes. Then delete anything in there.

Then reinstall RAT as normal. Sorry for the issues, upgrades are always a beast. You'll have to resetup RAT, but you won't have to resetup your server, etc. All of that is contained in the server files for 7D2D.

Also, from your first post, it sounded like you don't have Allocs Server Fixes installed. [MOD] Improvements for the dedicated server

Which are required for some of the missing functionality you mentioned (teleports, etc).

But wont that make my Server Classified as Modded?

As for everything else, im working on that right now. my NomadSoft wasnt in Roaming but was in Local instead. i went ahead and Deleted and now about to Respawn.
 
Yeah, it'll be classified as modded, but... so are 90% of the servers the last time I checked. But if you want functionality that isn't provided by the base game, you have to install mods, just not much I can do about it.
 
is there a way i can Look at a players Inv or such without having Alloc fixes? i dont want a Modded server so im trying to avoid using Alloc Fixes.
 
Hello again, i downloaded Alloc Fixes and it does NOT put the server under "Modded", but anyways the reason why im back here is because the Map setting isnt working on my 7DDRAT. Whenever i open it, it says it cannot be found and too make sure
  • Make sure the web address http://208.115.108.146:8092 is INcorrect. , I know this to be incorrect but i cannot change the Port and it doesnt match any port on my 7D2DRAT settings. the Port to my server is 17327.
If you have a fix for that, it would be greatly appreciated

Still no reply on how i can fix my Map with the Tool. the Error still comes up that its trying to access the map with the Port 8092

The webmap is located at your Control Panel Port + 2. By default, it is 8090, +2 = 8092, so that's why it is attempting to go to that port. If your CP port isn't at 8090, then set that value in the RAT Connections Tab to the correct value.
