Why is the whitelist function not working?

I have the VAC Ban Check enabled and a player was banned. His friends and I talked so I added him to the whitelist to allow him on the server, saved the settings, and restarted the server. The player got banned the following attempt to log on, anyone know how to fix this?

The ban check probably over rides the whitelist. Disable ban check maybe?

Its entirely possible I didn't add a whitelist check to the VAC Bans. I'll have to check later. That stuff was written probably 2 years ago and I haven't heard anything about it, so... not sure off the top of my head.

Same here... Whitelisting does not affect VAC Ban check.
But it´s no problem here.
