Hello.

I finally switched to CAT as launcher (and it worked !).

Problem is : A few parameters won't save, I have to edit it from the files and leave the field blank in CAT.

Parameters :
  • server nudity level : Alsways partial, won't switch to full
  • Server Region is US. No matter what you want. I can't save EU.

I've just installed V18 today and noticed something related to this. The Nudity level sometimes reverts to partial when you open the Settings page. I'm not entirely sure of the cause. I was logging in and out of my server, checking server admin settings in-game, etc, between the times CAT would revert the value to Partial "1".

The same thing may have been happening with the Server Community, or it may just have been something to do with this below problem.
The Server Community field is wrong. When in-game, it is set to Relaxed which is "2" in the ini. In CAT Settings, this displays as Hardcore. In CAT, if I set it to Relaxed, this turns into a "1" in the ini.

Some more potentially odd behavoir and more detail on the above issue.

Today CE received an update. I had CAT set to 1hr update checks, and to update when players are all offline. About 30 minutes after the patch went out, I noticed the update, noticed CAT hadn't started it yet, so I downed the update check time to 1 minute. A few minutes later, nothing had happened, so I clicked the "Instal/Update Server Button". This launched the steamcmd update process, with the server still running. Not sure if that is a potential problem.

Since I wasn't sure if the server could really still be running when it was updating (I know it downloads to a separate folder), I manually closed the server since the CAT UI is frozen while the SteamCMD is running.

When the update finished, CAT eventually automatically started the server back up. As it was starting, I opened the settings, and the above "Server Community" and "Nudity" fields had changed themselves again.
