Error message during install

based on the images do you keep the SteamCMD install separate from the server install? The reason I ask is because of the userdata folder. It is only in the SteamCMD folder. When I map the server startup I don't see one in the server install and I am unsure if I am supposed to make one.

I get this error (see image) right after I click ok to start server.

edit: I did a complete wipe of RAT and the steamCMD folder and the server folder. I hit create server and that part goes good but right after I hit ok to start server i get this error. This is really frustrating because i've tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling several times this morning since 8am and I am always locked at an error. What am I doing wrong. I had one successful attempt when i installed darkness falls. now when I try to install a new server I get these errors.

You'd want to install SteamCMD into its own folder outside of the game server. Its not specifically 7d2d and its not tied to anything. Its simply a Steam utility to install/update/validate Steam games.

The error message in the first screenshot... when do you get that? Can you click the Details button and paste the results here? My guess is that the second error, only happens because of the first and, and fixing the first will clear that up. So let's just focus on the issue that gives us an actual error.

Part of that error seems to be, say running a 64bit app on a 32bit OS, or some other incompatibility. Again, once I know what you're click on and get that stack trace from the details, I might be able to give you a better answer as to how go about fixing the issue.

apologies for posting in wrong thread. i saw other post and thought it was ok. for some reason every time i do that it doesn't work right but if i install steamcmd in the designated folder and then create the server then somehow i was able to get things to work. at least with DF that's what i did. im just trying to get the entire process right from jump and i think creating the server outside of the app and then plugging in the info is the better choice for me as I don't use the latest steamCMD for a lot of the mods which means I would have to install a different version per mod. i think a good chuck of my issues was that. right now i started a new server and i got this far (see img). not sure why the webapi isn't showing green. I did reset tokens but no dice.
