7D2D Challenges Grayed Out

We just started a server and one of our players challenges are grayed out, we cant seem to find a fix. Has anyone encountered this before? Thanks in advance
 
Sorry I should gave given some more contexts. So when my friend goes to open the challenges, there is nothing there. The boxes have a light gray border around them and there is nothing inside, totally blank. Subsequently, we learned that he was able to enter every biome without any negative affects, he went into the wasteland and took no damage. So it looks like the bug also ignores the biome progression in 2.0. It's super weird. We found a reddit thread from a few years ago with someone having the same problem, but it was a single player game which didn't help us much on the server. This is the reddit thread and basically what he was seeing on his end.

Nope. Brand new server and fresh characters. I have another friend jumping into the server today and we’re gonna see what happens with him. So we’re doing a lot of trial and error. But tried restarting the server. Deleting the player files and nothing seems to fix it.
 
Maybe get that 1 friend to try a single player game then will have a good clue where the problem is if it still happens or just reinstall the game :)
 
Most times players on my server has had problems it's their own installs causing it 😅
 
Did we ever get an answer to this problem? I started a new DS and a new toon, and I have no challenges or Biome. Other players on the server are good and have the Challanges and Biome quests.

I have no clue what ya mean by DS but the only thing I haven't seen people do is uninstall and re-download.
